Once a sibbling of the once great Rhyolyte, and a Gold town in her own right, Beatty is the only surviver of the many Ghost Towns that soround her. Today Beatty is mostly as a stop on the long journey across the desert, yet certianly rich with history in and aroud Beatty for those who like the adventure. A small town of about 700 people. Beatty remains a destination still popular with Prospectors, Hikers, Four Wheelers, and those adventuring the old Ghost Towns and Rail Ways abundant around Beatty if you know where to look. Rhyolite, Bullfrog, Pioneer, Indian Springs, Fountan City, Crystal Springs, Goldbar, Springdale, Hicks, Gold Center, Roses Well, Carrara, Ashton just to name but a few. (Please remember to leave Ghost Towns as you found them, so our children, and childrens children can enjoy them too). Please enquire on Antique Maps.
